"Hello, Special Agent Seeley Booth," says what is probably a familiar voice. If he looks to the left, he'll see Coyote doing tequila shots a few seats away. (She was thinking about Lilly and got nostalgic.)
"Pity," she says, as her lips quirk up in a smile. "I do hope you don't find me unpleasant now. We got along so well last time. And I have been faithful! No FBI agents have chased me since."
"Peach it is," Booth says. "And come one, if you're not sneaking pie here, you're not enjoying all the amenities the end of the universe has to offer."
He holds out a hand. "Seeley Booth, of Washington, D.C. Call me Booth."

He smiles at her, and it looks like a real one, except that it doesn't quite reach his eyes.
"How are you, kiddo?"

"My professors are obligingly giving me lots to think about this semester.
"How are you?"

He shrugs. "I'm in the middle of massive reviews. Yanked off cases until further notice. So it's paperwork for me."
Not good times at the Hoover building. Not at all.

"Yeah, somebody um. 'Took care' of the bear. Or so I hear. And I'm not generally so unconcerned about things, these days."
It's too bad. He could stand a little less concern.

Booth laughs, ruefully. "It was a good chase, wasn't it? Haven't done that in years."
He'd be upset at her, or try to arrest her, or something, but this whole Zach thing has taken some of the Righteous Lawman-ness out of him somehow.
Besides, she lives in another universe. Leave the girl alone.
