He almost doesn't go over, because he's too distracted by the words running through his mind to make himself walk. He can still feel the pages of that newspaper the boys picked up in town after church, light in his hands.
But eventually, he does go over, and drops himself into the seat next to Billy.
Doc looks tired, if anything. There are also still-healing scabs on the back of his right hand from putting his first into the mirror. He smiles, though.
"Quiet night at the end of the universe?"
He signals a waitrat with a slight lift of a hand. He wants another shotglass.

Giving Doc a smirk he spits on the stone and starts rubbing the blade against it again using slow and even strokes.
"Really though I been havin' myself a lot of quiet nights. Outta be proud of me, Doc."
