The door to Milliways opens with a bang today as Brennan stalks in, face set, shoulders squared. It’s nothing compared to the force with which she slams the door behind her.

He's jogging lightly, trying to catch her. "What the hell was that all about?"
And he's more out of breath than he'd like, having just been shot in the chest two weeks before.

"You're not dead."
Ironically, she sounds fairly pissed off about that fact.

If Booth can't stop fast enough, too bad for him.
"They told us you were dead."
Yeah. Booth might want to keep his distance for a little while longer.

And, yeah, Booth nothing being actually dead is a very good thing, but Angela hasn't seen Brennan this mad since her lab was violated and her bones stolen. (Angela's willing to bet miraculous resurrections don't happen at Stanford, either, though, for what it's worth.)

She sounds relatively calm for someone whose entire body is humming with tension and anger.

Brennan is not unaware of the fact that she has a temper. Because of that awareness, she is generally good at keeping her emotional reactions in that arena under tight control.
Right now she is as angry as she can ever remember being.
Booth had let them think he was dead for two weeks.
Honestly? She wouldn't mind another shot at him right now.
