Mother Nature looks down at the kittens from beside the table.

"There's something you don't see every day. But then, you don't see Mother Nature and Death together everyday, either, do you? We sort of work at different ends of the same line."

My granddaughter doesn't like it, Death admits. She finds herself pulled in, and I don't like annoying her.
