While Jenny comes down to the bar proper from her room upstairs today, it is only because she had gone to fetch a book and a certain sweatshirt belonging to a certain speedster. She had, in fact, come in from a trip to New New Earth (which, unlike New Thal, had been nothing but fun ( Read more... )

Ryan can take up space and be company! What more could she ask for?

Mostly he's just attracted to the fact that she's a familiar face in a still unfamiliar place, so Jenny soon has a teen sliding delicately into the booth to join her.

And then double take at the book.

".. Little bit of light reading..?"

He can help drink some of the not so appealing drinks, too! Like the guava juice.

"Yeah!" Jenny answers brightly, flashing him a grin. "Hi, Ryan!"

"Hey!" Just as bright back, despite the book and the crazy amount of drinks proving to be quite a distraction.

"You must be thirsty."

"I'm not," she answers with a small shrug, folding over a page of the book and placing it on the table.

It's supposed to be rude to read with people around, right?

"I just couldn't decide what to order tonight."

Its the cover that catches Demeter's eye first and she smiles at Jenny,

"Oh that does look helpful."

"It is," Jenny answers quite happily. "Even if we can't do some of the things in here, it's really good at suggesting ideas!"

She doesn't recognise Demeter, but that doesn't stop the young Time Lady from babbling about sex to whoever will listen.

"Ideas are rather important. Were you able to find a way to ride your young man?"

"Yeah! We went up to my room and I propped him up against the wall and..."

And this is about the point in the conversation where the details stop and Jenny realises that this isn't exactly public information. Yet.

"How do you know about that?"

She appears out of nowhere and everywhere. Not obvious and glaringly there suddenly, but rather as though all the space that once was there formed her gently from it.

A soft white light whispered along the edges of her body vanishing slowly, as she trailed her finger tips along the bar top at the far edge with a quiet, fond smile of recognition.

Followed by a bite on her bottom lip as she smiled and then nodded to it.

Even reading, Jenny can't help but notice an event like that. Her eyes go wide and less than a second later, she's scrambled out of her seat (book in hand).

Something new and exciting is, well, something new and exciting.

"How'd you do that?"

Allison looked up slowly. The tilt of her head, the way she holds her neck, it's elegant to the point of too much stillness. It's nearly heralding of dangerousness. Her eyes, though, are peerless blue, warm and deep.

"Which?"

They're very pretty eyes, Jenny notices. Almost as pretty as Bart's.

"The appearing. I've never seen anyone do that before."
