Kyo has. . . a thing. It's like a pocket organizer, in that it has a touch screen, and like an ordinary game player in pretty much every other way.

He wishes he'd been more specific when he'd asked for a way to play video games.

But at least it's keeping him amused, which is all he really wanted.

Completely botherable.

Not far away is the happy voice of a woman calling out, "Kyo!"

However, as it's not Kagura or any other family members of the young man, he'll likely be more receptive.

It's been like forever times seventeen since Mia saw one of her favorite not-cats.

Kyo looks up, feline ears swiveling.

He grins at her, standing and waving. "Hey! Mia!"

Happy Kyo is happy.

Which makes Happy Mia happy.

She needs some happy after the strangeness.

"It's been a long time! How are you?"

She's refraining from hugging out of respect for him likely wanting to stay human.

But she has to catch herself.

He reaches for her hand, to stop her from hugging him, and to touch her in a friendly manner.

He bows a little, grinning.

"I'm really good. How are you?"

Kyo flicked one of his ears, the hairs on the back of his neck raised.

That ear may be receiving some very very light, feather-light tickling.

It's halting, and it possibly sounds like Yrael's been learning from a book, but it's there. "[Hey, Kyo. How goes?]"
