"Really?" Her tone is of awe, not disbelief. For her Tesla is a genius: eccentric or not, the man ushered in the modern age with his inventions. "Oh..."
"Can I, really? Just a second!" She makes a quick trip to the Bar, getting the right amount of change from a german mark coin, coming back and handing him the five cents. "What do I do?"
"Lie down," he says, nodding to the couch, "and relax. It will help you to relax more, but some people get nervous before, you know... they have heard that electricity hurts. But it only hurts when used improperly."
Tanya does that, laying down on the couch; she saw both the wonders and the tragedies electricity can cause, and knows Tesla is its master. If he says it will not hurt, it is because it will not.
It tingles, not just in the place where the wire touches her skin, but all over. There's a feeling, an electrical hum, a sense of oneness with the flow of energy and with the world. It manages to be exciting and relaxing at the same time.
Tanya shivers, then smiles... relaxing and closing eyes. It feels very nice, and she could use something like that more often. "Oh, it feels very good..."
After a few moments, he moves the wires to the other side of her neck. He doesn't have a lot of experience doing this sort of thing to other people, but he has enough experience with himself to know what is most soothing.
Nah, it can't be... Right?
She is staring a bit.

And now, she is tempted to give it a try.

Which isn't much, really. But it was more back in his day.

"If you are nervous, it may help to close your eyes," he says, "but if you are more curious, you may want to watch."
And with that, he flips a switch on the device and touches the wires gently to the skin of her wrist.

Tanya watches, very curious...

Tanya almost lets out a groan when the amazingly stiff muscles of her neck and shoulders start to un-knot and untangle.

Whoops, too late.
With a small sigh, Tanya drifted asleep...

A good day for science.
