Cyrus is sitting at a table near the back of the room, reading a book about Max Schmeling and Joe Louis. If there's one thing he misses from being alive, it's a good boxing match. Some would tell him the sport is barbaric, and he would would agree that it's not what it was. But it's still a hobby, even here, and at least he can always read about ( Read more... )

The dean is not amused. He is very close to calling Guppy a clumsy oaf. And then recalls that as a bartender, it's not a good idea to react that way. Which doesn't mean he's not very annoyed.
