Maria Jackson comes into Milliways today completely by accident, though a contented smile crosses her face at her surroundings. She immediately looks around for people she knows, and it's the book that catches her eye first.

Defense Against the Dark Arts?

That sounds like something...

But when she sees who the book belongs to, Maria shrugs to herself, thinking she must have been mistaken.

Still, she's a friendly sort, so she smiles at the young man, whom she assumes is a complete stranger.

James' eyebrows go up in recognition almost immediately. Instead of a smile in reply, Maria gets an, "Oi! I know you!"

Now, if only he could remember her name. It's been a while, after all.

Her response is a dubious look. Then, she furrows her brow curiously.

Maybe her first instinct was right.

"James? James...Potter?"

"That's right," he says, a smile slowly forming. "And I know you, I do. I just can't quite place your name at this very second."

Bollocks. He probably sounds rather stupid, doesn't he?

All this gives him the advantage. She knows the text book. She knows the tie color. What she doesn't know is who's he.

James would be rather foolish not to recognize his own mother, especially when he's seen a lot of older pictures of her and dad during their years at Hogwarts scattered about the house.

He grins at her.

"Hullo, mum! This is weird, huh? I think we're the same age."

Ginny looks again. and blinks of course she knows who it is now. she's not that thick. Looking again she smiles.

"Hello James. I would say yes we are."

He starts to laugh.

"I sort of forgot about the oddness of this place," he says. "Among other things. It's been four years."

Blink.

This newcomer looks familiar.

Teddy may be trying to figure out who he is.

"I can't look that much different, can I?" James asks, tilting his head a bit with an amused grin.

Teddy's hair is slowly starting to stick up, becoming threaded with streaks of turqoise.

"... Well, that's one hell of a growth spurt."

He shrugs, letting out a laugh.

"Guess that's one way of putting it," James says. "Hullo, Teddy."

(OOC: Millitimed so it makes sense.)

Will comes in the Front Door looking tired, its been far too long since he's seen the door, a long month all around.

So he comes in and gives a smile to the young man as he looks for Kate,

"Ye look content."

He may not have remembered all that much in the way of faces when he'd first arrived to Milliways after four, almost five years, but Will's is one he'd never forget.

Immediately, he's standing up and grinning.

"Will!" he greets him.

James looks vaguely familiar but he's changed and Will's tired,

"Forgive me, ye've the better o'me."

He shakes his head.

"Can't believe you can't recognize your little brother," he says, half-amused, half-teasing. "Though, it has been four years."

Four years, and Will looks exactly as he remembers.

"It's me - James."
