Maria Jackson comes into Milliways today completely by accident, though a contented smile crosses her face at her surroundings. She immediately looks around for people she knows, and it's the book that catches her eye first.
Defense Against the Dark Arts?
That sounds like something...
But when she sees who the book belongs to, Maria shrugs to herself, thinking she must have been mistaken.
Still, she's a friendly sort, so she smiles at the young man, whom she assumes is a complete stranger.
James would be rather foolish not to recognize his own mother, especially when he's seen a lot of older pictures of her and dad during their years at Hogwarts scattered about the house.
He grins at her.
"Hullo, mum! This is weird, huh? I think we're the same age."
He may not have remembered all that much in the way of faces when he'd first arrived to Milliways after four, almost five years, but Will's is one he'd never forget.

Now, if only he could remember her name. It's been a while, after all.

Maybe her first instinct was right.
"James? James...Potter?"

Bollocks. He probably sounds rather stupid, doesn't he?

"Hello James. I would say yes we are."

"I sort of forgot about the oddness of this place," he says. "Among other things. It's been four years."

This newcomer looks familiar.
Teddy may be trying to figure out who he is.

"... Well, that's one hell of a growth spurt."

"Guess that's one way of putting it," James says. "Hullo, Teddy."

Will comes in the Front Door looking tired, its been far too long since he's seen the door, a long month all around.
So he comes in and gives a smile to the young man as he looks for Kate,
"Ye look content."
Reply
Immediately, he's standing up and grinning.
"Will!" he greets him.
Reply
"Forgive me, ye've the better o'me."

"Can't believe you can't recognize your little brother," he says, half-amused, half-teasing. "Though, it has been four years."
Four years, and Will looks exactly as he remembers.
"It's me - James."
