Carlotta looks very much on the boil as she enters. She pauses briefly to take a slightly melted chocolate bar out of her pocket, and puts it on the bar with a note tied to it.

It's the first time in ages that Knox is outside here. It's finally not winter, and that means the cold won't remind him of Bahamut.

it also means he's picked a good day to be outside, where he gets to see Carlotta's expertise. And applauds.

She looks down, manages half a smile, then flips off the branch, turns once in the air and lands neatly on the grass.

"Thank you."

"Never saw an actual acrobat this up close before. And certainly never in the trees." It's definitely like being at the circus as a kid.
