Gert was getting cabin fever. No doubt about it. Being stuck in her room, staring at the same four walls was driving her crazy. She had to get out of that room so she's come downstairs hoping for a quiet meal, maybe a conversation or two and a nice long walk by the lake to burn off some of OL's pent up energy.

"Yeah. I guess it's good she's playing with kids her own age for once. I just... wish they wouldn't gather en masse, as it where. "

She gives the kids an uneasy look, as if daring them to come near her. If they come too close, she is sooooo going to set OL on them...

"Do you think they'll bother us?" Chase reaches over to stroke her... hair.

"We could kiss, then they'll be scared off."

"Or they could be the really obnoxious kind of kids that would would point it out and stand there watching while making kissing noises. Thank god Molly's not that kind of kid."

Still, that doesn't exactly stop her from leaning over and kissing him firmly on the mouth. Mmmm kisses.

Kate was coming back from patrol, and a fire she helped her teammates with, so she was dressed in full out costume this time. With her purple sunglasses on, she might or might seem familiar. Also carefully navigating around the kids playing.

"Whatever you do, don't move. They're like dinosaurs. They can't see you if you don't move... or at least that's what Jurassic Park taught me anyway."

"The kids? They're pretty harmless actually. They're not armed with anything right now at least."

"Oh thats just they want you to think. One moment they're just playing tag, all cute and innocent; and the next they turn on you and eat your brains. It'll be like a scene from Brain Dead and when the lawnmower comes out, I am NOT gonna be the one to clean up corn syrup blood."

"... Should I be very afraid?" Victor asks as he approaches, peering around at all the hyperactive playing children.

"Ooooh yeah. You watch. In a few minutes they're going to coalesce into a giant blob. It'll be like a scene from an old black and white monster movie."

She looks up and gives him a brief smile.

"Hi Victor."

"Hi. I wouldn't actually put it past them - You never know."

"I swear, they are quite possibly the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. And that includes the time I walked in on my 'rents."
