It's still slightly chilly outside but sun is shining and OL is suffering slightly from cabin fever so she and Gert have gone for a walk around the lake. Up in her room, Gert has just emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a towel with another round her (freshly dyed) hair. She's not wearing her glasses so she can't really see very much and carefully she makes her way to sit on the bed and dry her hair. 

It's late afternoon and the set of rooms that the kids from LA have taken are, for the moment, quiet. This would be because most of the young runaways have abandoned the room to cause trouble elsewhere and Gert is taking advantage of the blissful peace while everyone is out.
