It's been yet another while that Melou's been here. Yet another birthday has gone by - he's 20 now - and he'd almost begun to forget that Milliways ever existed

Angela resists the urge to pounce upon him immediately. Now she knows why Bar put her in this dress.

He's gotten older again. He looks so tired. But still, she hangs back just a little and takes a breath.

And then she goes over and comes in his line of sight before sitting down across from him. She smiles slightly. "Hi," she says softly.

She giggles when he kisses her and blushes a bit. She hasn't lost that blushing ability at all.

"I'm a lost cause, aren't I?"

"Always have been," he grins against her hair. "One of the things I like about you, though."

[angela_edmunds]

She grins. "Good." She kisses him. "I'll never change. I'm too old now to change."

[dragon_twin]

"Don't," he says, suddenly serious. "Don't ever change."

[angela_edmunds]

She looks at him levelly. "I won't. Not ever," she promises.

"Good," he says, stroking a thumb over her cheek. At least she'll be something constant in his mind.

She smiles at him gently. She hopes he dreams of her, and often. Remembers her.

She'll certainly remember him until the day she dies.

She leans her head into his hand.

He pulls her closer for another kiss.

"You have some time to spare?"

[angela_edmunds]

"Of course I do." For him, as much time as he wants.

[dragon_twin]

"We still have a room?" It's been so long, he's not sure she'd have kept it.

[angela_edmunds]

"We do," she confirms, returning his kiss.

[dragon_twin]

"Good." He smiles a little. "Let's go?"

[angela_edmunds]

"Yes," she says softly, standing up. She holds her hand out to him, and smiles at him warmly as they head upstairs.
