Spotting the complete and utter lack of a bartender tonight, Dot's volunteered herself to take over for the evening of Mardi Gras. She's dressed especially ...ah...colorfully, with a stack of little paper slips next to a jar, and a larger stack of beads near that.

A garishly dressed little brother with a guitar peeps cheerfully over the counter at her. "Root dir float, please!"

"Coming right up..." Dot chuckles eyeing Enzo's costume for a bit. "Enjoying Mardi Gras?"

"Uh-huh! I might save this one, it's crazy but it matches the guitar real good."

He laughs at the specials sign, then points accusatorily at the fourth item. "You're bein' a bad influence on me!" he says gleefully. He's been here long enough to have picked up some User cuss words, even if he doesn't know their precise definitions.

"I ever catch you using that word, you're getting your mouth washed out with soap, buster." Dot smirks, before serving up a tall root dir float in a fancy glass to her little brother. "With digitized chocolate chip code freeze."

"Hello! What can I get you?" Dot says cheerily, leaning on the bartop.

Ginny smiles."Baby Asprin, Do we know if we are putting boy or girl names in the jar?"

"Either one, the baby hasn't reveiled his or her gender yet."

"I was thinking 'Cyan'," says the car that just pulled up to the bar. (And which still hasn't noticed its ' costume' yet.)

We break costume to bring you this icon. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Mardi Gras.

"Your drinks are free tonight, hun." Dot says, not bothering to stifle the gigglefits.

"...I'm missing something here, aren't I?"

"B-bob...you...didn't know...that you look like a hippie car right now?"

..No but the mun caught that head on.

"YT?" Dot looks a bit confused a bit before breaking into a smile and reaching over the Bar-top to give her a hug. "Oh not much...Bob and I are engaged, I'm due to have a baby sometime around next year.."

"How are you doing?"

"Well it's good to hear things are going so well for you right now..." Dot smiles. "Until the baby is born, I'm banned from having any 'alcoholic' drinks, so I'm living vicariously through various friends... What'll you have?"

"Hey, Dot!"

A somewhat sparkly Ranger sits down on a barstool; fortunately he's been spared too garish a costume, but his long-sleeved black t-shirt has his Ranger uniform pattern down the arms in gold. Bar's also seen fit to give him a few strands of black and gold beads, as well as swap his silver earrings out for gold ones and sprinkle his hair liberally with gold glitter.

Hey, at least it ain't on his FACE this time around.

"I'll take whatever you suggest, User or otherwise." The guy hasn't gotten to try any of Dot's specials yet, after all, and he's more than happy to morph up to do it. He's about to say something else when the jar catches his attention.

"Baby name jar?"

"Hey Tommy!" She smiles from behind the bar proper. "I guess that means you'll be getting the Green Motherfucker."

Thank User for small favors, eh Tommy? Dot's just lucky she can still pull off this outfit. It's a bit outdated by sprite standards but the metallic purple dress and multicolor fishnets go great with the colors of Mardi Gras.

"Oh... Expect a new member to the Matrix family to arrive sometime next year."

[first_sixth]

"Works for me." Tommy gives a somewhat wry smile at the drink's name, considering he used to be one himself (only with less mint). Whatever the case, he'll probably enjoy the shot itself.

Then what Dot said hits him and he begins choking on the cashew nut that he just put in his mouth. He finally manages to duck down below the level of the bar and spit it out, before sitting back up amidst a small shower of glitter.

"You're pregnant?!"

It is completely priceless.

"In the very early stages...but yes. Happily doomed to motherhood."
