"'as yer Door come back, James?"

"It has," he says - somewhat in awe. "It actually has."

He tilts his head up at Will.
"I need to...pack or something. Bring some of my things with me. And...leave notes and stuff." Beat. "And Teddy! I've got to tell Teddy."

"Um, James?" she asks. "What're you doing sitting in the middle of the floor?"

James glances up, immediately recognizing that voice.
"Lily!" He blinks. "What are you - I thought you went home!"

She shakes her head. "I guess we've been so busy around here, we haven't seen each other a lot." Or so says the mun's half-assed attempt at handwaving Lily's absence.
"So, why are you sitting in the middle of the floor? Teddy stick you there or something?"

"My door's opened, Lil. It's actually opened."
That might not particularly explain why he's sitting in the middle of the floor, though.
In fact, it really doesn't.

She stops by asking softly.

"I'm -" He turns his head to look upwards and sees his mum - well, the younger version of his mum.
"I'm good," he tries again, looking a little dazed but pleased nevertheless. He is still in awe that his door actually opens. "My door's not locked anymore."

She sits down on the floor with him.
"Wow that's great so your going back to school?"

"Yeah. As soon as I decide to go through the door." He laughs. He might have been waiting to say a couple of goodbyes first.
Or he might just be a little scared nervous.
