It's strange, how the massive Panserbjorn manages to move so silently in his armor, but he does. And since conversation isn't the favored art of either of them, he watches Teja in silence, dark eyes following the dead king's work curiously.

Funny thing, this is very possibly the first time he watches a human working a forge

Teja has noticed the Panserbjorn enter, nodded to him, but went on working.

He is humming very quietly under his breath, along with the patient beats of the large hammer he is using to mend the large copper pan he is working on.

He heats it again, then beats again.

Iorek looks almost comical, sitting on his hind-quarters with his legs splayed, as bears do. He has nodded back to Teja, then removed his armor carefully, so as to not disturb the human's work. Once several inches of bulky and hot sky-metal are removed, he feels more comfortable, though still cramped in the small space of the forge.

Teja trusts Iorek to keep out of the way of flying sparks; the bear is used to forges.

He himself has found a smith's leather apron to wear over his armour, hung his cloak safely by the entrance, and tied up his hair with a leather thong.

He gets up from the anvil and heats the coper pan once more, pushing the bellows with his foot to add intensity to the fire.

Tegid wandered bye. He hadn't left the bar in a few days, and his clothing was back to normal. He was haggard and tired.

Tegid was worried, and he looked it.

Tegid, with his inner sight, noticed Teja. He went into the forage and sat to watch.

Slowly, humming under his breath, Teja finishes up the pan handle he is working on, tightening the rivet that holds wood against metal.

The sound of his hammer is light and rhythmical.

Tegid watched silently, there was no need to speak. He even wondered if this man even noticed him.

He listened to the rhythm and dosed lightly, his cloak pulled about him.

And it took a while, as Teja did his work slowly and carefully, making sure that all was well to the best of his knowledge before he set aside a piece.

Gilenters the forge on silent hooves, not wishing to disturb the worker.

He knows how inconvenient it can be to have one's concentration broken.

He is, however, very welcome.

Teja is working on an implement that he has no idea about. He can see that handle appears to be broken off, but that is all.

He looks up from fiddling with that metal thing. "Greeting, faun Gil," he says. "Am I fixing this right?"

He holds the pieces up the way he would think they belong.

"That's right, Teja," Gil says. "It's used for grating things very finely. A simple effective piece of equipment that needs neither fire nor electricity - ideal."

"You put this part in here, then turn the handle - if the handle is not broken off?" Teja guesses. "So I will fix that handle. Your rats brought me that wheelbarrow full of things; I have repaired many of them already, yesterday and today. Did I fix anything wrong? I can easily set it right."

He gestures to the neat little stack of things already fixed, to his right.
