Teja is still in the forge, working.
He has ventured out a few times yesterday and today and even met the man whose forge it used to be.
He has slept by the forge-fire, feeling safer than by the fireplace in the tavern itself.
Now he is at work there again, working slowly, carefully and meticulously. He has reached nowhere near the bottom of the wheelbarrow that the rats have brought him. He does not even know what some of these things are good for, so finding out how they should be repaired takes as much time and effort.
Teja does not enjoy himself, ever -- but if he did, he would enjoy his work, and not wish it to be over too soon.
