As some of the patrons are aware, the walls of the bar move. It is that knowledge, more than anything, that the walls are literally closing in on him that drives Ryan outside when the full moon is near. It has to do with an incident that happened his first moon here. He hasn't forgiven Andrew Wells for that.

He will never forgive Andrew Wells for ( Read more... )

*It's during one of those brief indoors periods, sometime after this, that Ryan may catch sight of Andrew Wells himself.*

*Heading in his direction, looking determined.*

Ryan sees him coming. Andrew may not be able to hear it over the noise of the bar, but there's suddenly a low growl filling the air. The icon pretty much says it all, but there are more teeth involved.

Sadly, they are inside. Ryan will have to limit himself to that for now unless he feels like risking the cells.

*Andrew stops a few feet away and speaks without preamble.*

The disappearances. You're looking into them, right?

"Yes." The growling gets a bit louder with the opening of his mouth before fading again.

"Do you know something?" Normally he'd say that like it's completely unlikely, but...

He's desperate. He'll take what he can get.

Ryan glares, showing teeth before he catches the smell of the soap. The glare changes to with a bit more wariness to it, but his posture shifts more to that of a predator.

Tyler smells a whole lot like food.

"Yes?" Ryan growls.

"Werewolf," Ryan answers it what sounds like an idle tone. He's still showing teeth, but it's almost more of an after thought. Tyler's smell is distracting him. He's been inside for too long, and Ryan knows it, but...

He just smells so good. There's one small stalking step forward.

Bill came in and recieved a note with his coffee.

He's not sure how old it is but right away he's worried and looking for Ryan, a man he had every intention of avoiding from now until what's happening outside the big window gets into the bar after the raccoon thing. But this is important and so when he spots Ryan he approaches. He's in sheriff mode, something rare in the bar.

"Hey Ryan? I'm Bill, was with ya on the Black Oil thing? I just got that note you left, there anything new about Suzi?" The way the man looks it doesn't seem like good news is likely.

Well. As long as Ryan doesn't find out he was the raccoon, they're probably good.

Though Bill can retaliate by finding out Ryan was 'Trigger'.

"Pardy. I remember," Ryan says, tone clipped, flat, and just a little stressed. "Belar was able to tell that she's in a world without magic, but nothing more.

"And we know what's been doing it," he adds with a sort of grim satisfaction.

Yes, that should even things up a bit. Especially if Bill were to find out and then let George know about it.

Bill frowns at what Belar was able to figure out, because that's not much at all. Until Ryan says they've know what's caused it. "Yeah? What's doin it?"

Ryan just got a very bad feeling and doesn't know why.

"A stone angel. One of the people to have just returned saw it attack them." It's their first lucky break.
