Ryan was up rather earlier than usual today, but not for his morning run. He took Joy outside for 15 minutes or so before coming back in and going over a file folder. Then he starts writing.

He settles into a chair, folder in his lap, one arm draped over the side to he can pet Joy. She's all that's left.
