Atton's not wearing his usual attire, today - The clothes he's wearing might pass as being vaguely medieval. There's a long, thin sword at his waist, a shorter one on his back and several knives on his belt. "Hey, Will."
"Be glad when this is o'er, taken the tax many a time 'fore just ne'er 'gainst this many men an I'm grateful to ye for offerin' an will be there if tis e'er aught I could aid ye in."
And she hurries right the heck over to where Will's standing. sometimes a consequence of being stuck as a bird for a week is being woefully out of the loop. "Will? What are... are you going back?"
Yes, woefully out of the loop indeed. Will's getting the wiiide eyes turned on him. "I... Oh. I knew you were worried, but I didn't realize it was now and--" and something else he's just said clicks.
Clothing from the Middle Ages is odd. And itchy. Which is why Gene is trying to scratch at his back slightly as he walks towards the table where Will and a few others are starting to gather. Sadly for the paratrooper the garb showed just how scrawney he really was compaired to a few of the others from Easy.
Gene shifted a leather bag that hung about his shoulders all but keeping himself from checking the supplies he'd manage to aquire again. "Will," he says almost nervously trying not to scratch anymore at the wool fabric.
Blinking a few times, the medic looks down at his dress then back up at Will before barking a short laugh. "If'n I don' itch myself t' death." Pausing he scratched at the back of his right knee. "I don' see how yous standin it."
Of course he and his friends said the same thing about Army uniforms when they first joined the Paratroops. It's a learned thing he is quite aware of.
Doc comes downstairs after a long while of hiding out in his room. He asked Bar for some clothes to help blend in and she gave him something that looks like it could have been Will's, a loose shirt and a pair of pants, but he still needs a cloak and some weapons though he figures they'll get those when they get to Sherwood.
How he's going to hide his accent however...he has no idea.
"Will," he takes the belt and the sword and puts them on before he looks around at the other people who are gathered there. "Glad you got some more folk to help out."
The more help they can get the better.
Then he looks at Will and the way he fidgets. "I would say you should relax but I know that ain't gonna happen."
"Fairly well, sir, Atton, Doc, Gene, Krauser, Tristan an Yvaine, Molly an now Sariel are all comin', all volunteered, sir. Still wish they dinna 'ave to go but know need the 'xtra 'elp."

Gene gets a grim cautious smile and oddly the scrawiness will just make Gene fit in better, "Gene, ye'll fit in just fine."

He gives a nod over to Atton and looks around for Tristan trying not to worry too much.

This time the smile works slightly better, sparring with John did help a lot but that was a day or two ago.

"Hello, Will. Going home?" He's smiling a bit. Funny that.

He really shouldn't be doing this. His ship is waiting for him.
But it will still be wating when he gets back. (And it's just inconceivable to him that he wouldn't.)
