He makes it inside. Bar, seeming to understand "moooo" better than the patrons, gets him a robeQuite the fashion statement! However, it still beats his unwilling induction into the Bovine Conspiracy

Spoon doesn't know Jed as a human. Just as a cow.

Maybe that should change? He's watching the patrons warily with a glass of beer, at any rate, should Jed want to speak with him.

Jed notices him.
He'll be happy to talk, however, given Spoon's reaction to Jed-the-bull, he does not mean to explain that they've met before.
Over's over, man. Clean slate sounds only fair, to him.

He gives the man a polite nod. "Good evening."

Spoon's narration applauds Jed's self-preservation instinct. "Hallo." Spoon responds politely enough.

"I don't mean to pry, but--are you alright? You seem a bit out of sorts."

That robe just demands to be commented on.

"Nice duds."

"Lady Bar's choice, and it's still better than cowhide," Jed replies with a chuckle.

This particular comments triggers a two-and-two. Now Andy knows where he's seen (or seen some incarnation of) this man before.

"Much more colourful than that light brown you were before. Anyhow, can't say I'd prefer badger fur to an American officer's uniform, however ugly they are."
