It's approaching the afternoon, but, from the look of things, Momiji has just gotten up a little while ago. His blonde hair is damp, though neatly combed, and though he has a long, lacy shirt somewhere in between pink and red on his upper half, the rest of him is still nestled in a pair of bright pink, pajama pants, with bunnies printed all over ( Read more... )

Here, Momiji, have an otter!

Apparently, if Mia was cursed by the zodiac, she'd be left out like Kyo.

She just happens to wander by the booth on her way to the bar. For fishcreams. But friends are even better and now it's her turn to be all little and cute and cuddly.

She's not too sure how to say Momiji in otter, so she says, "Bunny!" instead.

Momiji blinks, turning his head to eye the otter. He doesn't quite recognize Mia, because, well...otter. Plus, with all the animals around, lately, he's not sure if she means him or not.

"...You mean me?"

She nods and then stands on her hind feet.

"It's Mia," she says, pointing to herself with a paw.

"Names are hard in otter words."

"Oh...!" He breaks into a short bout of giggles, leaning down from the booth and grinning.

"Hi!"

He resists the urge to add, 'You're an otter!' It sort of goes without saying, anyways.

Possssibly.

(Even if meerkats don't usually eat rice. But this meerkat is willing to try.)

So, there is a small furry creature, sort of eying Momiji's food from not very far away. Sometimes animal instinct simply takes over - especially in the cases of food. And, meerkat or not, he simply can't quite develop a taste for bugs.

Normally, Momiji wouldn't address random animals around...except maybe to pet them...but, with all of the ones around, lately, he figures it's a little more acceptable.

"Hello...?"

Instinctively, he barks a reply. (He still has to concentrate a whole lot more to be able to talk like people.)

Shaking his head, he repeats with a more human-sound, "Hi!"

"Er, hi."

He bends down a little, looking at the meerkat. He's never seen one before.

"What're you?"
