Stitch has thoroughly investigated the interior of Milliways over the past few days. Well, as thorough as possible, anyway. While his curiosity did lead him upstairs at one point and barging in on strangers has never really struck him as rude, not being in procession of any keys turned out to be a greater obstacle than he had expected. The stench ( Read more... )

Small furry creatures playing musical instruments are not the least bit odd to Captain James T. Kirk. In fact, the overall lack of non-humans in the Bar is much odder.

"Hello," he calls out. He wonders if this is a first contact situation, and still wonders if the rules even apply.

Stitch's gaze shifts from the ukulele at the sound of the man's voice.

"Hiiiiii!" He gives a toothy grin.

OK, it speaks Standard. Or the Bar is translating. Good.

"I don't believe I've seen anyone like you here till now. What planet are you from?" A huge leap, given some of the beings in the Bar, but Jim never seems to be around when many of them are. "I'm from planet Earth."

There's a raised brow at that. Of course you are, you're human aren't you?

"Stitch is from Kauaʻi."

...Although the girl River had claimed to have spent some time in space. He snuffles curiously in Kirk's general direction.

Music attracts those who can appreciate beauty, this is why there is a Dark elf and his panther walking along the edge of the lake, basking in the sheer beauty of the day.

Seeing the creature with the strange instrument Drizzt pauses, then slowly approaches, cautiously not wanting to disturb the musician, with Guenhwyvar at his side.

As the pair draws closer, Stitch glances up. Elves of any description do not really faze him; he's seen much stranger. The panther on the other hand gets a stare of interest. He definitely doesn't see something like that everyday. There's no fear, just intense curiosity and a not so quiet air of confidence. He doesn't seem to be scared of either of them.

Similar curiosity can be seen behind the intelligent eyes of the 600 pound panther. moving ahead of Drizzt, Guen approaches the strange creature then pauses to sniff the air at a distance.

Huh.

Most of the local fauna back home seems to be instinctively uneasy around him for the most part. With the exception of birds and the occasional sea turtle. But he's only ever encountered one of those. The ukulele is set aside and he grins at the panther.

"Hiiiiii."

Even after all this time, he still occasionally forgets that most Earthling creatures can't speak.

A giggle can be heard coming from a near by tree. It is not a giggle of ridicule, but one of appreciation. As the notes are strummed there is an echoing "Ooooo" also heard from the same tree.

Strange noises originating from trees earn immediate attention. Stitch peers intently at the thick foliage.

"Gaba?"

A green bearded head pokes out from the branches of the tree revealing a rosy cheeked dwarf with a balding head of hair, dyed green, with his beard pulled up behind his ears and braided together down his back. The dwarf smiles at Stitch and replies.

"Oo Oi!" [Hello]

The language is not familiar. Smiles are usually a good sign though.

"Aloha."
