Perhaps Raspberry is of sufficient interest to attract Eden's attention.

More particularly, perhaps Raspberry sunning herself on a rock with, of all things, a slushy will be of sufficient interest. No wait, make that... three slushies? Peculiar.

Why she is indeed! Eden grins at the sight of the familiar face and walks over. She takes her time - the better to decide how much to tell Raz, my dear.

"Watching our figure, I see," Eden notes.

"Huh? Oh, hey babe!" says Raz cheerfully, swinging her legs down and scooting to get a more vertical seat on her boulder, which is luckily craggy and complicated enough to support such action. "How's it hangin'? Want a slushie?"

That is one Conveniently Craggy Boulder. Eden eyes it for a moment, then finds a spot big enough for her to sit on (which doesn't need to be that big, considering).

"My boss has some big plans in the works for the store," she comments. "Major advertising campaign. We're doing a lot of reorganizing right now. It's pretty stressful.

"So I need something to keep my blood sugar up." And she takes a slushie, then peers at it suspiciously. "It's not related to you, is it?"

One thing of notable interest was a rather pretty woman standing barefoot in the grass near the tree line. She had long dark hair and was wearing a long gown of dark silk. A silvery blade hummed in the air as she performed move after move of precision forms--the sword curved much like a katana. Her expression was deadly serious but after a moment, she stopped to take a breath.

A sphere of fire hovered over her right shoulder and a faint golden nimbus burned in the air around her.

Eden stops upon noticing the woman - to take her in, to assess the situation - then continues walking, angling her direction slightly so that she's walking towards the woman.

She doesn't call out. Doesn't interrupt. Just watches, gaze going often to the sphere of fire, feeling a faint tingle in the base of her spine.

Eden can learn to love Milliways again when it has elements of a fantasy novel.

Lyrae glanced over to her, tilted her head to one side to study Eden, and then spoke--her voice pleasant, but with a thick, harsh accent that might sound rather like Russian.

"Greetings, Child."

Why, yes, Eden, a woman who looks to be in her early 20's called you Child.

Eden's eyebrows raise slightly - curious but amused.

Eden, who also looks to be in her early twenties, smiles back. "Ah, greetings. Sorry to interrupt, but I couldn't help noticing you out here. Those were some amazing moves."
