Fran's had a pretty good week. There's still problems to be faced, back home, but at least now she knows she won't be facing them alone when it's necessary

(didn't have a name as such that would be in medical literature, it didn't exist prior to the Captain Trips project. He'd have been able to tell it was a variant on influenza, and a look at its DNA might show it had been tampered with/engineered, I think? "Shifting antigen virus" was what it was called in Stand. ie, not a natural virus, so she's not going to bring it back from elsewhere. And outside a host, it dies very quickly. Hours.)
