"Are you sewing something?" asks Jack curiously.

"It looks very complicated. What is it going to be?"

Clive let go of the corner of linen he was holding up with his teeth while working on pinning a second layer underneath, "It's a skirt, or, well, it's going to be a skirt, mostly just a mess right now."

"It's a lovely colour."

Jack settles into a chair, nearby.

"I've never seen anything being sewn before. Well, patches for costumes, and such, but it's not the same."

Clive grinned, "It's exactly the same, really, just bigger." He shrugged then, "I started out with costumes, still like those best."
