Will sees Marian and approaches as silently as he can, not sure what to say to her and looking at the ring.

She is Marian and he will support her however he can though he doesn't like the idea of her risking herself, but Rabastan has pushed those thoughts farther down.

Now he just stands, worried for her and wishing he could do something to help her.

"Evening, Will."

The words are said without looking up or away. Perhaps there was some peripheral notice of the clothes or the posture. Maybe it was just something in the air, that made them know, like right before storms hit, or when Sherwood's leaves were about to change colors.

Will's not surprised that she knew he was there, he didn't want to disturb her and moves so she can see him, there are new bruises on his hands as he bows,

"Did Sir Guy give ye the ring, milady?"

She lets a sigh out, moving her gaze from the ring to his hands, but not up yet. She's not sure she can look up for the things she's about to say, and she's not sure she could be brave enough to say them to anyone else.

"Will? Would you give up everything for Robin?"

The vines on the ring looked like the ones in the garden where the grapes grew. The grapes Fox had wanted so badly but never got.

He placed his paws on whatever he could reach to see the person sitting there.

Was Marian feeling pensive? Fox thought she was.

Marian startled at the sudden touch, looking ever more confused when her gaze was shifted from that damnable ring to the face of a little fox. She felt surprise war with unexpected awe, and the tiniest shiver of wary nervousness or fear.

"Hi, there."

It was worth a try. This was Milliways, after all.

It was Milliways. No need to fear.

"Hello lady. Are you sad?"

There was some dawning shock in the eyes. Not many normal looking talking animals met in the Bar here yet the sign said.

"I--I" Marian was stammering slightly in surprise, before she ducked her head with a nod. "It's complicated."
