( Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War - PART I - General provisions. Article 3: )
Wells came into the Bar today well, well after Spoon. He needed a little time to pull himself together before pulling himself together at Milliways, much as some people need to exercise for a while before they can bring themselves to go to ( Read more... )

Wells might be the Alpha, Spoon might be super sensitive, but Muldoon can be pretty damn quiet when he wants to be.

Given that he was one outside with one werewolf in a foul mood and now this-

The other man's nose wrinkles. but he still approaches.

Cautiously.

Wells is using the silent guns today, since he's not shooting for Spoon's benefit but his own. And we do mean guns; he's alternating between the pistol and the LSW.

He's better with the pistol- scary better- but he's eminently acceptable with the other weapon, too.

Muldoon raises an eyebrow.

His only response as Wells works through the targets is a low whistle.

Wells doesn't give any visible acknowledgment, but when he switches off from LSW to pistol, he expends the entire clip. One shot per second, perfectly evenly spaced; then he lowers the gun and turns in Muldoon's direction.

"Been there long?"

Eventually, when Wells is done, Spoon approaches. "Da'."

Wells glances over his shoulder; he's been cleaning up the range, as is his wont when he's done. "Hallo, Spoon," he says. "How're you doing?"

"I kind of regret not killing him," Spoon says softly, assisting on cleaning up as best he can, "but I think I regret hurting him instead of killing him even more. Either kill him or not, but was being his level by hurting him."

Wells pauses a moment, but nods and continues his part of the work. "I'm inclined to agree with you on that," he says. "A man like that's not worth sullying yourself for. At least you know better now, eh?"

Kira was setting off to the woods with an air of extremely reluctant purpose. (In fact, it was more the air of someone who was going to do something as soon as they had absolutely run out of procrastination strategies.) This led her on a winding path through the gardens, nearly onto the bar roof, partly around the lake both ways, and back near the door. Then, when she was out of options, she remembered there was a back to the bar and went around it.

"Oh, hello," she said. Not that she was particularly close, but: gun.

Silent gun, in this case; Wells hears her coming and lowers the assault rifle well before she gets too close. "Hallo, Kira," he says. "How've you been?"

"Good!" The gun gets a mistrustful glance. "Sort of tearing across the US on a vacation. The most deliberate vacation ever. You?"

"Working off a bit of a bad day," Wells says. "I dunno if you've been about since it happened, but one of my old squad-mates turned out to be alive after all. He's been living with me and the wife these past few months."
