Here's a face that hasn't been in the bar that much lately.

Matrix is sitting in a booth, his feet kicked up on the table. On the table itself, the components to his weapon, Gun (which looks like a cross between a massive pistol and an SMG) are layed out as the large green sprite checks each piece over and starts cleaning them.

He seems...oddly

"Hey, sugar." Mouse saunters up to the booth, a drink in hand. "Ain't seen you here in a..." She freezes within two pixels of the booth, a frown of puzzlement and suspicion downloading across her face. "Now what's got ya in such a good mood?" In other words, who are you and what have you done with the real Matrix?

Kinda creepy, ain't it?

He looks up at her. "Hey, Mouse."

He smirks slightly. "...Finally told AndrAIa."

It was about fragging time, too.

Yes, it was.

"So since y'ain't tryin' ta drown y'self in I/O shots, I'm guessin' she took it pretty well," Mouse says. "She been in here yet?"

He chuckles.

"Way better than I expected. She hasn't been in yet, but she said she wanted me to bring her here soon."

There's a pair of red eyes looking down at him from a beam in the rafters.

Sheik is draped rather lazily over one of the beams as she takes a moment to relax.

She narrows her eyes curiously at the odd weapon.

Matrix...is still cleaning his weapon.

He's kinda too distracted to notice someone up in the rafters. His gun is rather interesting, after all.

Okay...curiosity has gotten the best of her. She grins, "Pardon the intrusion, but...is that a new weapon?" she tilts her head to the side as she peers down at the gun. "I don't believe I've seen one like it."

She always liked interesting weapons...

Matrix looks up at that. He looks around for a moment before spotting Sheik in the rafters.

He blinks slightly before speaking.

"...New? I've had this for hou...er, years. It isn't new."

Big green person inna bar?

Big green person with a... great huge phaser-y something inna bar?

Sariel's stopped mid-step. A half-second later she turns around, and offers a shy wave with the hand not holding a steaming mug of... something. "Hi." Green people aren't so terribly unusual, to her; Starfleet gets all kinds.

Matrix looks up from polishing the inside of the gun's main chamber.

"Huh? Oh, hi."

He may be somewhat more pleasant than normal, but he's still not extremely talkative.

And she's normally a bit shy. Or more than a bit shy. Today's no exception, either.

"I... don't think we've met before." She's a few steps closer now, but not yet sitting down. She's also fairly certain by this point that that thingie? is not a phaser rifle. "You're not new here, are you?" When in doubt, try a fairly inocuous question.

He chuckles.

"Nah, been here for a few months. Just haven't been in for a little while. Name's Matrix."

He points to the seat across from him.

"Feel free to sit. I don't bite, long as you ain't a Virus."

He's already been bitten and chewed up badly by a pack of rampaging werewolves; how much could a bite from Matrix hurt?

First a blue man, now a green man.

Just how many oddly ... colourful people is he going to see in Milliways before his time here is done?

Matrix is too engrossed in inspecting Gun at the moment to notice he's being watched. He sets the piece he was working on to move onto the next.

Rabastan looks at the pieces and rolls his eyes. Whatever that thing is it's way too complicated as far as weapons go.

If it is a weapon. Rabastan doesn't know much about guns, really.

Wands? Now that's much simpler and easier to use. Yes.

"What is that and what are you doing with it?"

If he surprises Matrix he'll end up regretting it.

Matrix...is a jumpy fellow.

Not because he's scared. He's just used to lots of fighting. Makes anyone jumpy.

So, if he jumps a bit in his seat? Totally not uncalled for. He looks around quickly, and sees Rastaban. He blinks slightly.

"Uh...It's a gun and I'm maintaining it."

Hey, green guy. Green guy with a gun. And a smile. Sure, it's a disassembled gun, but still, weapon.

So it's a wary but perky young woman who wanders over. "Evenin'!"

A very destructive and explodey weapon!

...not so much at the moment, but y'know. Still.

Matrix looks up.

"Hi," he says simply.

"Sorry, jes' had t' wander over. Y' know, paranoia 'n' all. If y' plannin' on shootin' up de bar, would y' mind waitin' an hour?"

She's joking. Mostly.

Matrix laughs at that.

Humor that's somehow related to violence? He likes this one already.

"Unless I'm mistaken, I don't see any Viruses around here. So you don't gotta worry about that."

He smirks.

"For the moment."

He's joking too. Really.
