It’s evening and Kairi can’t concentrate on her homework. Her thoughts keep drifting away from fractions and equations and instead to a smiling boy with blue eyes

There is another girl in the bar tonight, and she has a purpose. In fact, Kairi is the very person she is looking for. (Her Other.)
She's nervous, though -- very nervous. If things happen accordingly, so much could change. Of course, these will be good changes -- good especially for her friends. For Sora and Riku.
For now the other girl is trying to think of some way to approach Kairi, watching her carefully.
Things will be right again once more when she does.
Kairi orders a mug of hot cocoa from the bar and while she waits, scans the Bar, looking for a free seat. It takes several moments - as the bar is reasonably full this evening - before she notices an empty booth. Once she collects her drink, she carefully weaves her way through the tables of patrons toward it.
She sits down, placing the mug in front of her on the table - willing the liquid to cool quickly.
Naminé takes in a breath, not quite aware that she has until she lets it out.
Kairi had passed by her table. Well, not exactly by her table, but close enough that she could still watch her without any trouble from where she is situated.
And now Kairi's alone. If she had a heart, it would be beating wildly in her chest with nerves. Folding her hands behind her back, she rises from her seat and begins to walk towards the other girl's table.
Kairi stirs her cocoa, making swirls in the liquid with her spoon.
Deciding it's cooled off enough, she takes a hesitant sip - burning her tongue.
She can't help it - she laughs.
Out of the corner of her eye, she notices a blond haired girl in a white dress. She thinks nothing of it, aside from idly noting the girl seems approximately her age.
