So, Axel's been bored. Slouching on the couch by the fire is all well and good - and not a bad 'hiding place' so far - but it's boring. So he's up and about and moving around today. Hood still up, of course, but, hey ( Read more... )

"Afternoon, Axel," Yrael says as she passes by.

Axel looks over at the mention of his own name, and...

Blinks. Headtilts. Considers for a moment.

"...Yrael?"

((ooc: *mun raises eyebrow and wonders if the 'she' is a typo*))

(ooc: Nope! :D)

Yrael turns and blinks, her eyebrows raised. "Yes?"

Yrael's hair is longer, her face more fine-boned than usual, and her shape...well, is different. She's pretty, in a rather angular sort of way. Kind of like how Yrael is a bit too thin to be a rather solid man, when shaped like a male. Or, as a cat, is small for a fully-grown feline. She's wearing a simply-cut white dress that comes down to mid-shin. Pale bare feet can be seen under its hem.

"Different look for you," is all he says. "At least that I've seen."

Right now, she reminds him somewhat of Namine.

Naminé is in the bar, in a booth, by the window today. Not really looking out of it at the moment, but she's close enough that if she were to turn, she could catch the universe resetting itself on the occasion.

It isn't as though she's afraid of it or anything. In fact, if anything, it's interesting.

She's sketching and doesn't notice Axel yet.

[ooc: 'llo~ hope y'don't mind!]

Which is definitely close enough for Axel to notice her. She might hear a faint creak of leather as he leans over the back of the booth, over her head.

"Naminé."

((ooc: heeee~~ Not at all! ♥ :D))

She looks up, recognizing that familiar voice, and her eyes widen.

"A-Axel?" she breathes, pencil dropping from her hand. It lands on the floor with a light tap.

He bends, and swiftly scoops it up, offering it to her between two fingers, his expression neutral.

"Seems like there're a lot of us turning up here," he comments. "Kinda funny, that a bunch of people who aren't supposed to have a real destiny keep showing up in a place that so many people think only the destined wind up."
