Bernard Wrangle is, despite all insistence to the contrary, a creature of habit.

So, when he walks outside in his flip flops, black swimming trunks, black t-shirt, and donald duck sunglasses, he does what he normally does at lake parties and walks to a quiet spot of lawn near the water but relatively removed from the main area where the party's set up.

It's pretty groovy, how the grass is so soft and springy. Magic has its perks. After lying down, he grins up at the sun and takes a long, deep breath, contemplating a move to some equatorial region.

Despite the fact that his nose is already burning.

[ooc: This is mostly a placeholder as I'm leaving for an hour and a half but feel free to tag him -- I'll tag you back when I get home.]

"I love you, you love *hic!* that jerk from downstairs...."

There is a drunken bunny, singing and weaving through the grass.

"Mornin pops!"

Bernard is Horrified. "...Oh, Jesus. Watch out you don't get eaten, okay?"

The Bunny staggers.

"What'd eat me? What could?"

He proffers his rum bottle.

"Drink?"

It's bizarrely warm out here for February, Guppy notes as he wanders out.

The first thing he does therefore is to take off his hat and scarf, before wandering around to find out what's going on.

He better watch out with his wandering, because Homestar is wandering too.

In sunglasses covered in yellow paint.

He doesn't quite bump into Homestar, but does need to shield his eyes.

"Looking a little bright there Homestar."

Hey, he recognizes that voice!

"Oh hey there, Doc," he happily says to Guppy's immediate right. "Toasty weather we're having latly."

Rachel drifted by, tired as usual...but it was a party...so...

She grabbed a plate of something or other, and a beaded bottle of something else and settled in the grass to poke at her food.

Oh look, a casually dressed Fae has joined her in the grass. Ever seen Doyle in beach cloths? Well, it doesn't happen too often. Be even luckier if you get him into swim trunks.

"Hello Rachel." He smiles at her, "It's a lovely day."

Rachel didn't own swim trunks, so it was understandable that she didn't press. In fact, swim suites for her were just skimpy spandex...

Her smile was slow in coming though, as she turned her gaze on him. Far too much flame in the emerald. "Doyle!" she greeted, no small bit surprised. She had not seen him in...some time.

"It's...wrong. The day."

It's true. And shall just be left at, 'He went home for a while' because the mun really doesn't have a reason for his absence.

His fingers brush one of her cheeks, because the flame in her eyes might concern him a little. "It's supposed to naturally be winter. So I'm not surprised that it is wrong." He looked out at the grass and lake. It felt a little odd. Even if the warm weather was a nice change. "Will this stay this way?"

Monk decided he would attend the party and Bar was nice enough to provide Monk with a horribly tacky Hawaiian shirt for this occasion.

He also has sunglasses on... and looks ridiculous.

In spite of the ridiculousness, though, he's feeling very sociable today.

This is a Very Good Thing!

There is a pale, barely dressed punk looking girl eyeing him.

And one hand is over her mouth, to try and hide her smile.

Monk gives her a very enthusiastic wave!

And then... stares.

Huh.

She winks at him.

"Why, hello. I do so enjoy your outfit."

So, there was this copy room door that insisted on being an entrance to a Bar. And today? Today she was going to scout out the outdoors...

And it wasn't winter.

Elisa narrowed her eyes against the sunshine and looked around, even shuffled her feet in the grass. "I'm pretty sure this isn't Scotland right now" she noted simply. Then? Well, she shrugged out of her red jacket and drew a deep breath, savoring summer in an unpolluted place.

"A nice change from the cold, if you ask me," Sarah replies from her seat on the grass.

She looks up at the woman and grins. "It's absolutely beautiful out."

Elisa shifted her gaze to the woman, offering a smile "I guess. It's weird, definitely, but nice."

She sighed, though, hand tightening on her coat and her holster getting a little uncomfortable in the heat "Unnatural."

"A lot of things about this place tends to be. Magic they say." Sarah Jane laughs. "But if magic can get rid of winter, I'm all for it."

Even though, really, she finds the whole concept a little, well, odd.
