And there comes a snowball.

"Hey, Kats! Somebody made a city of ice by the lake. You do that?"

EEK!

...Wait, no, she's tossing her snowballs aside to rocket his back toward him with a flick of her wrist and a grin. "No! What's it look like?"

Come on, favorite boy! Show her! Since she's climbing to her feet and all to go meet him.

Jet takes the snowball like a man-- but is quick to offer his arm and smile to his girl. He kisses her once, and then says, "C'mon, lets go see it."

At least one places has seen 'Godzilla' atteck it, but... hey, pretty city in ice, right?

Taking his arm, Katara gets rid of the residual snow her 'man' took to the chest and grins, kissing him easily-- but not without a blush still.

Though that's quickly gotten rid of when she spies the city and is full of 'oohs' and 'ahhs'-- and then is pouting, looking disappointed as they come upon the part that's been stomped on.

Of course, Katara has to let go of Jet to fix it, rebuilding the tiny ice buildings.

Maeve watches the girl juggling for a moment, her arms crossed lightly across her chest. Despite the weather, she is clad only in a cut off tank top and a short skirt.

And then she extends one hand, and very gently sends a pulse of power towards the ball in the air at the moment, causing the snow to explode outwards.

Way to send the girl idly (bored, really) juggling into a blind panic, crying out and scrambling away from the explosion, climbing to her feet to look around wildly and--

Hey. She doesn't know that person. And if she's warm enough to wear that clothing in this weather, and if she's so calmly standing there after what happened, then Katara has come to one conclusion.

"What did you do that for?!" she demands, hands on her hips and scowling.

Maeve, her hand stills extended, closes her palm into a fist. And the snow that went out, soars back in, a complete, compact sphere.

"Because, sometimes, you must exercise control."

Not exactly expecting that, Katara still manages not to jump the second time around - even if her hands stay on her hips and her eyes are wide.

Her temper, however, is not always so well managed.

Caught between extreme irritation and sudden interest, Katara looks at the woman for a long moment before replying: "Are you a Waterbender, too?"

If she isn't, she can yell. If she is, then there may be better things to do with her than screech.
