Tonight, there was a car - different from the usual car - sitting in the bar. Black and beautifully reflective, no sound came from it, the windows were opaque, and the only sign of life was the consistant sweep, back and forth, of a red scanner along its track.

Why was there a car in the bar anyway?

There's a car in the bar. That's different. Bob puts his guitar down and goes over to have a look.

Well, there usually was a car in the bar. It's only that usually, the car was silver and black and had a yellow scanner. But, well, he's also surly and antisocial.

This one was very social.

The scanner whispered back and forth. What he saw - what he sensed - confused him. He'd never thought he'd see something with those readings just... walking around.

"I beg your pardon, but may I ask a few questions?"

That voice is familiar...

"Kitt? Is that you?"

"Oh heavens - Bob?" The scanner picked up speed. "My goodness, I should have figured with what my sensors are picking up, but I was so caught aback--" He was rambling, and he knew it. "My goodness, this is amazing!"

It's a car!

Kira is looking from the car to the door rather dubiously.

She's at the wrong angle to see moving lights.

And Kitt was dubious about her. He was used to getting odd looks, even here. But he would remain on his guard. After all, being hijacked for his wheels had nearly happened before.

It's a shiny car! Kira's just wondering if there's a garage on the other side of the door, or something similar.

She wanders around the back of the shiny car. Is there a license plate? (Are they all going to get carbon monoxide poisoning?)

There is indeed a license plate, and it reads KNIGHT. And there is no detectable odor from the exhaust either.

There is, however, a rather indignant, "I beg your pardon!"
