Plourr isn't there immediately. She doesn't see her come in. But it's hard to miss someone lying in the middle of the floor, if you're at all situationally aware, and she has a split second to recognize the coat and the hat before she's shoving her chair back and moving, with a light tink of jewelry.
"Makita," she says, crouching beside her, resting her weight on the balls of her feet. "Makita, are you hurt?"
Makita looks up and blinks sleepily. But she's able to force herself into enough awareness to recognize the question and the questioner. She shakes her head tiredly and mumbles, "Just tired."
"You sure?" she asks. She's seen this before, in people hurt, people in shock. "No blood?" She's looking her over herself, but she doesn't see any; doesn't see any sign of external injuries.
No, no injuries. At least nothing major. She has a few scrapes and bruises, but nothing you wouldn't expect to see on someone who runs around a ruined city all the time.
The nod Makita tries to use to answer turns into her dropping her head. "It's been a long... week? month? I'm not sure."
So Makita is back and beaten-up and even scruffier-looking and help!
What does Kira do what does she do?
This calls for some sort of decisive and thoughtful action. Kira freaks for a moment, then pulls off the poncho--she's wearing a red tank top underneath--and tucks it around the girl. Then the idea of major injury occurs to her. "Are you okay? Are you bleeding?"
It takes a couple of moments for Makita to look up at Kira. She considers Milliways to be a safe zone, so she's already letting herself start to sleep. Exhaustion slurs her words together, "No, 'm just tired."

"Maybe you should be in a booth," Kira says in tones of concern. "So nobody drops their beer on you when they trip." Poke her to get up?
