Surely you didn't miss Santino moving into the bar, bringing with him a draught of thoroughly warm air before the door closed behind him.

He sat at an empty table, people-watching.

She would never miss Santino's entrance, though the warm air following him in is a welcome accessory.

She pulls up a chair across from him. "Where have you been, hm?"

"Italy."

He smiled.

"Have you been waiting for me?"

"Pining, perhaps," she says.

"Though not entirely waiting...Been up to anything interesting?"

"Not particularly. And yourself?"

Agnes didn't miss him. She heads over to his table and politely asks, "Can I get you something?"

He looked up- dark, dark eyes on hers, and smiled.

"No, thank you. Are you busy, or would you care to chat?"

She looks around the room and shrugs.

"I haven't had a break tonight, so I suppose I can take one now."

"Don't let me force you." He replied, though he was still smiling.

"I'm Salvatore. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss...?"

And if the people watch you back?

Or the not precisely people, at any rate - one with her head tilted back over the side of one of the armchairs, grinning and peering over at him from upside-down.

This particular not-quite-person very rarely misses him. At least not when she can help it.

Santino is far from blind, of course.

Spotting Lethe, he moved over to the armchair and gave a short, warm laugh.

"You seem to entangle yourself in the oddest positions."

One day Lethe is going to learn to be properly stealthy, you'll see. (Or, rather, you won't see - which is precisely the point.)

She wrinkles her nose at him - fizzing with a silent giggle of her own - and props herself up, stretching lazily before tucking onto the arm of the chair to give him room.

He joins her, adjusting so that she might sit on him and not the other way around.

"When is your voice to be returned?" He at least a little concerned.
