Michelle didn't mean to come into the bar, which is probably why she's got a pint of ice cream in one hand and a copy of "What to Expect When You're Expecting" clutched to her chest.
The first few chapters of the book are marked with post-it note tabs and her place is kept with a yellow highlighter.

A young woman in a sober bordering on grim black silk dress sat elegantly at a table with a cup of hot tea in front of her. She nodded to the woman calmly and spoke in her heavily accented speech.

"Greetings, Lady Michelle."

A pause, and a glance at Michelle.

"You should be warm enough now."

Lyrae held her hand gently and the golden fire around her burned more brightly as she wove an intricate flow. The humming feeling would no doubt unnerve Lady Michelle, but she would do well enough.

After a moment, she nodded calmly, and the flows disappeared as did the power from around Lyrae.

"Perfectly healthy. No anomalies at this stage at all in the child."

Michelle stifles a gasp at the sensation and squeezes Lyrae's hand.

It can't end quickly enough but she's relieved at the news. She slowly pulls back her hand.

"Thank you, Lyrae, it is nice to have another expert opinion."
