"Michelle." Sam says softly as she wanders up, Elliot in her arms. "Hey...haven't seen you in forever."

Seeing her pangs a little.

"Sam?" She looks up in surprise, not expecting her to have a child, or be older.

"It's...been a while," she tries to smile. "Is he - ?"

Sam can't help but smile when she looks down at Elliot, who has been doing so much better at not being so fussy all the time. "Yeah. Elliot Largeman. The evil thing that made me sit in labour forever."

He coos at her. And she griiins.

"Sam, he's beautiful," she says honestly, feeling a small tug at her heart when she thinks about how she'll be carrying a baby in her arms in only a few months.

"How old is he?"

A young woman in a sober bordering on grim black silk dress sat elegantly at a table with a cup of hot tea in front of her. She nodded to the woman calmly and spoke in her heavily accented speech.

"Greetings, Lady Michelle."

"Hello, Lyrae." Michelle says politely, still a little uncomfortable around the woman since she saw her in a very fragile state.

"How have you been?"

Lyrae nodded calmly, and studied Michelle rather clinically. Not too much time had passed, though she was probably in need of an examination.

"Much as ever. Are you doing well?"

She doesn't break eye contact, although she feels like she's in a doctor's office.

"I'm...doing as well as I could be."

Out of the corner of her eye, Chris thinks she sees someone familiar.

She's right. "Michelle, hey" There's a quick once over. "I'm guessing you just got in?"

Chris is one of the few people in the world who can get Michelle to smile.

"What gave it away?"

"I think it was the shoes," Chris says seriously, nodding her head. Then peering at the book she asks, "Jeannie had that book when she was pregnant with Tori. Is it helpful?"

"I think the robe's a good fashion statement. Maybe I'll wear it to see clients."

She looks down at the book, "I've highlighted a lot of it." Which might not be an answer.
