"A very dignified, self-confidant lawnmower, thank you muchly." He leans hard against one of the petting hands.

"Self-sufficient too?" She queried innocently, raising both eyebrows.

"Of course," he says, once again leaving himself open.

"You never get lonely?" There was some gentle belly-tickling, but she wasn't really paying attention.

Shame on her.

In response, there is some mild happy-flailing of limbs in the air, each paw stretched up as if to bat at the stars.

"I have not been lonely since I came here, no. Before, yes, all the time."

"You are waiting for the other shoe to drop, as they say." He purrs comfortingly into her hand.

"You are stuck, as you say, and want things to continue. Perhaps schedule a date with your boyfriend?"

It was so simple, she didn't know why she had failed to think of it. Possibly because her cheeks were on fire when she thought about anything to do with Viktor.

"Well, if I ever see him..." She stroked Yrael throughtfully.

"Feelings of loneliness or self-pity come when one does not continue forward. You slow, and have too much time to analyze things. It does not help."

"Ask him on a picnic while the weather is still warm but not blazing hot, and not too chilly."

"Some kind of romantic, Yrael?" She teased gently. Ignore the lack of any kind of agreement.

Idly, "You know it."

No, he's not.

Maybe.

It's hard to tell.
