Todd - in fascist cowboy outfit, sans dildo - looks Beth up and down before "modesty" takes hold of him, and he glances down at the bar with a smile.

"Hiya, Beth. Nice costume...what're you supposed to be?"

"Thanks," she says without thinking, doing a double-take at him.

"I seem to be Eve." She kind of smirks, raising her apple. "You know, forbidden fruit, garden of Eden, and all that."

[toddbaby]

"Eve." Todd smirks, folding his arms. "Right. That's an interesting choice. Bar dress you up too?"

"I don't think I would've picked this for myself," she admits.

She passes the apple from hand to hand, grinning as she really takes a good look at his costume. "That's some outfit, too."

*Snow spots Beth and heads over*

I'm starting to feel that I got off lucky with the costume the Bar gave me. Happy Halloween.

Beth almost doesn't recognize her at all.

"Snow?" She chuckles. "Happy Halloween is right."

The Bar has an odd sense of humor sometimes, but I think this works better than pirate night.

She nods in agreement, tossing the apple just a bit into the air and catching it. "She does. I must've missed pirate night completely. I think I would remember something like that."

*Anthy glances at Beth, and then stares. She is reminded of someone.*

Beth feels someone watching her. She looks around and spots Anthy, whom she's never actually met.

She offers her a sort of half-smile.

*smiles back, hesitantly, and glances at the apple*

Who are you?

[stbethadettes]

"I'm Beth," she introduces herself. "You're Anthy?"

She looks from Anthy to the apple. "And would you like an apple, too?"

He's said he'd meet her there in a bit, and it's a bit later than he thought it would be. Spike makes his way down the stairs to meet Beth in the bar and as he walks in, he does a double-take.

That's not what she was wearing when she left, he's sure of that.

Then he looks down.

"Shit!"

Beth perks up and turns around to face him. She smirks and tilts her head.

"You're a cowboy," she states the obvious.

Spike's eyes narrow. He leans forward and bangs his forehead against the table.

Hard.

Beneath his breath, he mutters violently. The words stupid and don't believe it and Andy can be heard, along with a large number of very choice swearwords.

I am not happy.

She takes his hat, puts it on her own head, and idly runs her fingers through his hair.

She's somewhat amused by this and somewhat concerned.
