"I'm not quiet," Parker says. "I'm broke, and I don't think that it's fair to talk about other people's business. I'm not sure the word for that is 'discrete', though."

[timsbooks]

"This might not be the job for you."

Tim cocks his head.

"See, once upon a time, this plac had maybe a couple hundred visitors. I knew each and everyone of them by name, knew what was happening in thier lives, and knew what troubles were coming. Now..."

He spreads a hand to encompass the bar.

"Look at them all. By myself, I can hardly keep up. So, I'm looking for observant, friendly people, who are willing to find out what's going on, and who's new, and tell me about it. In return for which, I cover tabs."

[misterparker]

Shrugging, Parker says, "I'd do a lot of things for money. Spying, though..." Tilting his head. "I have to assume that one man's rat is another god's friendly people-observer, but..."

Parker purses his lips theatrically. "I don't think that I'm well liked enough to help you."

Tim shrugs.

"Sorry. There will be other jobs, in due time."

Cassie is more than intrigued and walks over to the table.

"I assume you are the one who put up that sign?"

[timsbooks]

He grins at her.

"That is me."

[janetsdaughter]

She sits across from him.

"Sooo..I'm here. Why'd you put it up?"

[timsbooks]

He gestures around the bar.

"I? Used to know everything that happened here, everyone who is here. This bar had a couple hundred people, and I always knew what was going on. Now? Not so much. And I'd like to be in that position again."

Raven had been on her way outside to get some exercise when she'd spotted the sign, reading it she blinked at it then looked at Tim.

"Well, I can be quiet, discrete and dependable...what is it you need?"

Tim gestures around at the bar.

"At one point in time, I knew everything that happened in this place. Now, there's so many people, it's that much harder. I'm looking for people to keep an eye out, and report back to me."

"So you want me to what? Spy on people?" She shifted from one foot to the other.

"Not exactly. Just, talk to people, listen, see what's going on."

He smiles.

"And tell me about it."

Paige approaches Tim and smiles, "I'm not Bound, well not right now anyway, but I'm easily reachable and I fall into all the other categories," she says

He looks her over.

"Do you pick up on the goings on of thi place well?"

She considers the question for a moment trying to work out exactly what this is going to involve. "When I'm here I guess I do yeah, comes from being a Charmed One I guess, always keeping an eye out for people in trouble and stuff, why?"

He gestures around.

"I used to know everything, everyone. Now, we have so many people, I can't know whats going on. So, i need people to help me."

John strolls by, reads the sign and says, "You spelled discreet wrong, you know."

"Been too long with the americans."

He shrugs.

"So what kind of gaff are you cooking now?"

He sits down without waiting for you to ask.

Tim smiles, putting his feet up.

"I just like knowing what's going on around here."
