"Step right up, folks. I'm Eddie Dean, and I'll be your bartender tonight. What can I get ya?"

Slack is a girl who always knows what she wants, even when it is a very strange drink name.

"Sure thing. There's already a drink called Bingo. That's--" He mixes while he talks-- "Vodka, Mandarine Napolean, soda water, and fruit syrup. Only instead of fruit syrup, I'll put in white curacao. Which is... fruit-flavored, anyway."

"And there you go." He hands it over.

She's been adjusting to just ordering from the bar, but Beverly looks relieved to see a tender behind it tonight, all the same. It's a bit of normality she's happy to cling to.

"Can I get a cherry soda and a cheeseburger, please?"

"Sure." Bar takes care of the cheeseburger, and Eddie pours a cherry sofa over ice. "I'm Eddie."

Bev smiles, shyly, but with less wariness than she would have shown a few days ago. "Thank you. I'm Beverly."

"Welcome to Milliways, Beverly," he says. "I haven't seen you in here before."

Truman glanced at that. He was thinking of getting a beer, but this sounded interesting.

"Hiya, uh, how about a Hoopy Explorer?" He grinned. Yeah, he really liked using the word ever since Ford told him about it.

"Hm. Okay. Blue curacao, galliano, and irish cream."

It's a sort of shimmering green color, something like the waters of the Caribbean.

"Darn, didn't stump you huh?" The drink was kind of pretty though, cool ocean waters for sailing in color. He took a tentative sip. Very unusual mix, oranges blending into anise and vanilla, and the irish cream all blending together. It was certainly different, but he found himself not minding that much.

"Thanks though. I'm Truman, by the way."

"I'm Eddie," he says, offering his hand.

There is now a pyro at your Bar, Eddie.

Well, a pyro and a dog, really, but it's hard to see the dog, as she's curled up around the barstool. That's what the steady thumping sound is, anyway.

"'Lo, Eddie." It's even a friendly pyro, glory be.

"Ace! Hey. How ya been?"

"... Busy." She finally decides, carefully. It's better than her first answer, which was 'dead'. She's getting better at avoiding those first impulse answers.
"Very busy. Visitin' people." Like. You know. Death. At work.
"Something nonalcholic tonight, I think. An' can I get some water for the furry lump down here?" The thumping gets louder.

"Sure." He makes her some drinking chocolate, with assistance from the Bar for heating.

"Eddie, Eddie, hi!"

Ingress hasn't seen Eddie for a long time. It's always a happy day when she sees an old friend again.

"Can I have a Chocolatey Nutty Cherry Creamy Shake?"

She knows what she likes.

"You bet!" He gets to work. "Long time no see, Loompa."

"I've been busy. Mary Poppins left and Tom and Door made me and Gavroche and a girl called Laerke a real school! We have a playground and everything."
