Seeing as it's April first, Molly is pretty sure that it's a trap, but... FREE SWEETS!

She's feeling adventurous, since she knows there's no violence in the bar, so she chooses a sweet at random and reads the slip of paper in her hand, even as she's chewing and swallowing.
She feels a strange tingle all over, and then suddenly: "I have wings!"

"They look good on you."

Real one.

"Thanks," she says wryly, turning to try to see them properly. She kind of goes in a circle, like a puppy chasing its tail. She hasn't ntoiced the pointy ears yet.

"I saw you singing the other night."

He reaches out to tickle one of those ears.

"Ah?"

He eyes track the movement, and the something about where he's touching seems...wrong. She puts a hand up to examine for herself.

"My ears!"

SHe eyes him suspiciously.

"You're sure this will wear off by tomorrow?"

Yes, she knows it was him. He looks just a little too innocent. Then she sees that tattoo on her upper arm and eyes it with interest.

[vs_nuggan]

"Did you not before?" asks a small and heavily pregnant teen at the bar.

Who hasn't noticed her bunny tail yet.

"Betty!"

She notes that the other girl looks a bit larger than she did just a few days ago.

"No, these are new. They came free with the sweets."

She holds up the slip of paper that explains the candy's effect. Then she really looks and notes a fluffy white tail behind Betty.

"Did you, er, have some too?"

She nods. "Yes, but they didn't give me anything like that."

Shifting a little uncomfortably.

"I think the baby will be here soon."

Molly smiles behind her hand. She'll discover that tail soon enough.

"I thought you had another six weeks or so!"

Here's another Molly, with cat ears and a tail, eyeing her.

"Got you too. I see. Suppose I'm lucky I didn't get stuck with the fairy wings again." Rueful look as her tail swished back and forth some.

"I think I'll thank my lucky stars I don't have a tail," she says with a grin. "I'd just trip over it. Did you eat the sweets willingly, or was it a surprise after the fact?"

"Had a sweet, didn't realize the date here, and already planning my revenge. How about you?" Molly cherrily replied.

[mollyprewett]

"Oh, I knew something would probably happen, considering the date. I just took a risk, since the bar rules were apt to keep anything really bad from happening."

She looks around at all of the other patrons.

"Funny how not everyone is turned into the same thing. What are you planning for revenge?"

There may be bit of an unholy gleam in her eye.

"...Congratulations?" There's a Max eyeing her curiously. "Do they work?"

[mollyprewett]

"Thanks...I think." She concentrates on the new appendages, but they hardly move at all. "It doesn't look like they're anything more than decoration."

She gives one a tug and winces a bit.

"But they are definitely attached. "Did you happen to try any of the sweets that were left out?"

"No. Didn't notice 'em, actually. The weird costumes caught most of my attention." She looks around, bewildered. "...There some sort of celebration going on?"

She not sure she should spoil it.

"Sort of. It's really just a bit of harmless fun. Just be prepared for a surprise if you eat one."
