There's a moment's glance at Richard before his eyes catch the sign. Then he reaches over and pats the top of Richard's head.

"I'll tell you how much I appreciated that when we get home, all right?"

He blinks and blushes and nods and sits. He takes in a healthy gulp of Scotch.

"And you have brown eyes, and I know that."

He laughs.

"Good to know you remember."

Then his voice changes a little, a musicality entering it as he looks to Richard.

"'S not the Scotch, mate. Chris says there's some old magic about. I sang to him in Hindi the other day. I don't speak a word of Hindi."

He sips his Scotch as if to prove it.

"And there's no rush at all. I love what we've got."
