She's sitting up a big willowtree, outside, dressed for the weather (and she even has mittens on, though you can't see the strings) and pink-cheeked from the cold

Angie is hovering on a broomstick close to the tree and talking to it. Yes, talking to the tree, not the occupant. In fact she hasn't even noticed Buffy yet. Mostly she just says hello and appologises for not visting for a while.
She glances up in shock when Buffy speaks. You just don't expect a tree to talk back to you, even when the tree is one of your friends. Of course when she realises it isn't the tree talking back, she laughs.
"I know... the tree is my friend. She isn't normally tree, she's just being one for winter, as a gift for her brother."
A sword screams through the air from the lake to jam itself in the trunk of the tree a good six inches. After a few moments, Lady Death floats over from where she hovered over the ice and begins working it out of the wood.
It's one of the most unpleasant sounds you'll ever hear in your life.
One of the branches cracks down, snapping the sword in half, leaving the point embedded in the wood while another catches Lady Death around the waist, not throwing her out of the way, but more... making sure she can't get back to the embedded part of the sword.
Lady Death could only stare as the sword was broken, but when she was ... quickly removed from the space she had been occupying by another branch she was quick enough to put a hand to Darkness.
She almost pulled it out before the thought surfaced, I'm about to draw steel on a tree.
She looks to Buffy and recognizes the question as directed to her. "I am not sure. Perhaps the tree is more than it seems."

There's the whole fact that Angie's kind of hovering, too. On a stick.
"Uh, hi. You're kind of talking to a tree. And I don't mean that to sound rude or anything, but... tree."

Buffy?
Gets the hell out of Dodge, picking up the broken half of the sword from the ground as she goes to Lady Death.
"Are you okay?" she asks as she looks back at the tree. "What the hell was that?"

"This place is too weird. I thought Sunnydale was weird being the Hellmouth. I wonder how much worse it is here."
He gathers up some snow and packs it into a ball. He tosses it up in the air and it falls back down...catching it. He does this repeatedly.
