There's a rock that sits on the edge of the inlet of the lake that William likes since it gets some of the best breezes.

He's done most of his chores and is reading some Jules Verne and enjoying being near so much water.

Quietly since his voice isn't that good, he starts singing Cool Water.

After the second time of his singing the words 'Cool water', she chimes in every time they are repeated, with an unearthly, compellingly sweet voice. And there are a lot of repetitions of those words, in that song.

Her voice is slightly distracting but he sings until the end and then tries to think of another song she might like.

She likes it, and she knows it, so she sings along with it, in her unearthly sweet voice.

Her hand slides up his boot, to see where it ends.
