May I just say that even though I don't read period romances of any sort, that this world you've set up here is fascinating and very, very real - the dialogue, the little details of food and mannerisms - and the delicacy with which you've portrayed their emotions is so masterful, that I'm absolutely hooked. I am glad that you could pick up those little details. When I first write down this story, I felt like I'm explaining too much for everything and I was afraid it can be rather draggy. So far no one is complaining and actually enjoyed it. I had so much fun writing this and I hope to finish this story by the end of this month.

If you do get the chance to watch Downton Abbey, you will realise that I didn't follow everything (I think I only borrowed 2% of Downton's plot). Like the arrival of Thor in Downton (only that it was the Duke who arrived, he's not drunk though, and he slept with one of Downton's footmen. They were like making out in the first episode. And in later episode this footman has a crush with a freaking hot Turkish ambassador dude. Yessss there is slash in Downton Abbey! But it is only as a minor side dish of the drama).
So this story is freestyle as I go along which add more fun writing down this fic. Plus this era is just too precious. And I'm so delighted that you found Thor so lovely albeit a rather poignant man I made him in this story. Ah, he's a drunkard dolt after all. This is the first Thorki fic that I've read with Loki/Sigyn as the one sided-pairing (usually it's Thor/Sif). Needless to say, I love the plot as well. I've already read part 2A at norsekink and now I'm dying to see the ending. Pwease, pwease tell me that there will be a good ending??

Is there a Sigyn in the original Marvel Thor comics?? I've never read any marvel comics, considering that I prefer Japanese manga. I usually only watched the films. Through some fics and fandoms, it appears that there are some original Thor characters that weren't included in the movie, such as Balder and Amora. But I don't know if there is any Sigyn around, except from the original Norse myth.
