Request Radio One : March of the Demented Crossover Plotbunnies

hannahrorlove requested, "I would like to see you post the House/Farscape notes you have mentioned. Or a list of the strangest "House" plotbunnies you have encountered."

I figured I would throw in a few other cracked-out House crossovers as well. Though the DCU ones are getting saved for another post. Yes. There's more than one DCU one. I blame poisonivory.

ROTFLMAO. I cannot get over the House/Queer Eye one. It was a bad idea to read it while my mouth was full of coffee. Hee, it was just perfect. *Goes back into lurkdom laughing hysterically as House/Queer Eye scenes continue to flash through her head*

I swear, I have been waiting for that crossover since I got involved in House fandom. Which was... late December or early January of last year, I think. It just seems so... obvious, somehow.

That's brilliant! I love cracked crossover bunnies. There needs to be more good fic dammit, especially in the House fandom. *mopes*

Ive had one crossover w. House dream. It was John Smith from dead zone ending up as a patient for House. I mean: what's the differential diagnosis for post-coma visions?

Also John has a bad leg and walks with a cane so it was quite strange. (in a good way).

I'm really not sure why House fandom doesn't have more of these kinds of things, because... really, I can't think of a fandom I couldn't cross him with. I even swung B5. (Admittedly the BSG one was an AU. Still!)

*stares* What would it take to get you to actually write some of these?

*sighs* That's a bit of an issue at the moment, because.... I haven't really written for months now. Certainly I haven't seriously written since May; everything since has been bits and pieces, dribs and drabs*. (And the House in my head--yes, I still have one, despite everything, adds, "Like an old man peeing!" *sigh*) It's not writer's block, and it's not a lack of ideas; it seems to be a lack of desire entirely, probably fueled a great deal by a lot of the... difficulties I'm currently going through offline. I haven't posted about it because I frankly cannot take any more people offering me 'suggestions' or 'advice' on how to fix it, and I keep hoping if I just wait long enough it'll get better. (Considering I've run into other people who have had this exact same thing, and that's what their advice amounts to: "Don't try to force it, wait it out, maybe experiment a bit with stuff totally different than normal, but don't try to force it," this seems to be the best course ( ... )

Moo ha ha. Clearly my evil plan has succeeded!

If I didn't know that it would take twelve years because each fic would be 700 pages of carefully constructed wonderousness, I would suggest that you sign up for House at crossovers100 or whatever the comm is. (Also someone's probably taken it by now.)

When did I get this reputation? How did I get this reputation?

(Also someone's probably taken it by now.)

Hazards of being an 'in' fandom. Hell, everything was taken several times over by the time I even found out about fanfic50 or whatever that one is.
