my birthday was beautiful, i spent it dressed up like a pirate drinking rum & eating birthday cake. i am thankful for my other half (heart) cos without him i would feel a tiny bit less filled with love. i am really quiet cos there are no words to express the kind of life i am living right now, i wish i could show you the endless amounts of pictures

My name is Monique. I was raised in California & uprooted to the midwest where I still live today and I like to say that I've been scarred by the whole experience :p and it's very much part of who I am now.
I am one of a million users who lists photography & writing as an interest.
That's really what I want to do with my life, write & research. I am learning about linguistics because I love language. I take lots of pictures of my partner because I think his legs are cuter than mine.
My short-term goal is to finish up my masters & buy a house and work toward making enough money and getting into a PhD program in New England. My long term goal is to learn more & more, be published, research & teach as a professor... and come home to furry pets :)

and i just dropped both cos i absolutely love taking photos
& writing was my first passion
everything felt strange to me,
the way the studied photos and the way they disected every piece
of writing. words are meant to be picked apart & photos are nice
to look at not studied.
im majoring in business & minoring in world geography now.
i want to start a teahouse business and eventually, some day, when
i get rich from making tea, ill travel the entire universe, might
as well know slightly where im going, you know??
i'll keep the photography and writing closer to the heart. xoxo
