A buffet was set up with all the usual brunch type of foods and beverages as usual every other Sunday. All there for anyone to enjoy.

Once again, Piper brought Matthew with her.

Yuffie had shown up for the brunch, mostly to get more of an idea of the place her father had sent her too. And because she'd gotten over the shock at that she wasn't on Gaia at all. It would have helped if he had mentioned that bit first.

So, it was a curious yet standoffish Yuffie sitting there at the table with a plate full of strang (to her) food.

"Nothing's going to bite you," Owen said, noticing the look on Yuffie's face. He didn't know if it applied to her surroundings or the food or what, but even so.

Yuffie's shocked expression quickly turned into a glare as she sized up the guy talking to her. "How do you know? Are there monster hunters that keep the streets cleared?"

Maybe something had been left out of that letter.

Seifer was there, mostly for the food, but also to meet the little guy he had missed the week before.

She waved one of his tiny arms at Seifer.
